Brenda L. Bowersox

YORK—Brenda L. (Beck) Bowersox, 55, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023.

A Celebration of Life Tribute will be held at a future date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements.

Born January 6, 1968 in Bellefonte, she was a daughter of the Nancy E. (Beck) Ross of York and the late John Wagner.

She was employed with the state of Pennsylvania for the last 20 plus years working as a social worker with Children and Youth

Services and most recently as a counselor in the office of Vocational Rehabilitation.

An avid gardener, she was currently training to complete the Penn State Extension Master Gardener program. She also loved crafting, making resin jewelry and would bake several dozen cookies for the holidays.

In addition to her mother, Brenda is also survived by two sons, Forrest Rife and Adam Bowersox both of York; one step daughter, Jenna Bowersox of York and one sister, Christine Moyer of Lancaster, KY.
