Brenda L. (Blymire) Keeney

York—Brenda L. (Blymire) Keeney, 69, passed away, Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at York Hospital. She was the wife of David M. Keeney with whom she celebrated 39 years of marriage on May 2, 2009. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Monday, January 25, 2010 at Codorus Church of the Brethren, 1129 Dunkard Valley Rd, Loganville, with her pastor, the Rev. Richard J. Fischl, officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Burial will be held in New Fairview Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Born July 1, 1940 in York, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Hawkins) Blymire. She was employed as a Seamstress for 30 years with various sewing factories throughout her career. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Keeney is also survived by, one brother, David Blymire of York, three sisters, Roberta Mobley of York, Ellen Mimnell of Columbia and Bonnie Ruff of Felton and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Codorus Church of the Brethren, 1129 Dunkard Valley Rd, Loganville, Pa 17342.
