Bradley B. Smith

DALLASTOWN- Bradley B. Smith, 76, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Theda Jo (Rebert) Smith. The couple celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on June 25, 2016. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from noon-1:30 p.m. Masonic rites will be held at the start of the service. Pastor Patti Bream will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Blymire’s U.C.C. Cemetery in Dallastown. Mr. Smith was born in York on December 17, 1940. He was the son of the late B. Bruce and Beatrice M. (Mellinger) Smith. He owned and operated Brad’s Barber Shop in York for 57 years, where he worked beside his daughter, Sheila. Mr. Smith was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Dallastown. He was a 1959 graduate of York High School and a graduate of Harrisburg Barber College. He was a member of the Red Lion F&AM Lodge 649, Harrisburg Consistory, 13th Ward Political Club, and Rooster Social Club. Mr. Smith leaves a son, Brian B. Smith and his wife Kathleen of Dallastown; a daughter, Sheila J. Smith and her fiancé Steven Koller of Dallastown; and two grandchildren, Alison R. Leaman and her husband John and Stephanie Graves and her husband Frank. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 126 West Main Street, Dallastown, PA 17313.
