Felton—Bonnie Lou (Luke) Runkle, 76, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Kenneth E. Runkle. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2PM, Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with the Rev. Michael G. Trimmer officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2PM, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Cross Roads United Methodist Cemetery. Born May 31, 1940 in Wrightsville, she was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Isabelle C. (Ely) Luke. She was a dedicated and loving homemaker who also worked as a seamstress at a local sewing factory. Bonnie loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking and was an avid NASCAR fan. Years ago she also enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with her husband. Bonnie is survived by two step-sons, Gene E. Runkle and his wife, Barbara of Knoxville, MD and Donald B. Runkle and his wife, Sharon of Cross Roads; four grandchildren, Katie Larsen and her husband Chris, Jenny Brown and her husband Mike, Jeanne Marie Runkle, and Karen Reichenbach and her husband Kyle; eight great grandchildren, Norie, Matt and Jamie Larsen; Andrea Decker; and Rip, Eliana, Raica and Kaizer Reichenbach. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bob Luke and his son, Daniel Luke.
