Bonnie L. Wilt

BROGUE- Bonnie L. (Junn) Wilt, 77, of Chanceford Township, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 at her residence. She was the wife of Frederick E. Wilt. The couple celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on June 29, 2018. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Living Word Community Church, 2530 Cape Horn Rd. in Red Lion, with a visitation from 9:30-11 a.m. Pastor Brian Rice and Pastor Steven C. Almquist will be officiating at the service. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements. Mrs. Wilt was born in North Lawrence, Ohio on October 10, 1941, the daughter of the late Leo Darrell and Jean Mae (Adams) Junn. She was the founder of the organization, Overcoming Powerlessness in York. Mrs. Wilt was a member of Living Word Community Church in Red Lion and the American Association of Christian Counselors. She received her undergraduate degree from Bob Jones University in Greensville, SC and her Masters Degree in Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Mrs. Wilt leaves two sons, Eric Wilt of Dover and Darrell Wilt and his wife Jennifer of York; a daughter, Christine Amond and her husband Tom of South Carolina; five grandchildren, Savannah, Sahara, and Noah Wilt and Elizabeth and Christopher Amond; three brothers, Roy, Norman, and Denny Junn; as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Singer. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Overcoming Powerlessness, 12650 Lucky Road, Brogue, PA 17309.
