Bonnie L. (Newcomer) Fike

DOVER – Bonnie L. (Newcomer) Fike, 73, passed away at York Hospital on Saturday, May 14, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Emerson G. Fike, Jr. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 A.M. on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 1551 Kenneth Road, York with Certified Celebrant Debe Snyder officiating. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. – 11 A.M. prior to the service. Born June 25, 1948 in Connellsville, PA, she was a daughter of the late James W. and Stella (Annsel) Newcomer. Mrs. Fike worked many years at MH – IDD as an Accountant before she retired. In her free time, she enjoyed baking, traveling, game days with her girls, teaching her knitting class, volunteering at the Dover Senior Center, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Fike leaves behind a son, Gary L. Fike (Christine); a daughter, Beth Ann Lightner; two grandchildren, Loretta Gray, and Robert Lightner; two great grandchildren, Scarlette, and Mason; a brother, David; five sisters, Nancy, Jeanie, Elizabeth, Judy, and Janice; and many nieces and nephews.
