Bonnie C. (Bowman) Landes

DOVER- Bonnie C. (Bowman) Landes, 68, passed away, Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Pleasant Acres. She was the wife of the late Paul C. Landes. The couple had been married for 49 years. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York, is in charge of arrangements. Born June 15, 1942, in York, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Nellie M. (Miller) Bowman. She was employed as an Office Worker for Goodling Oil, Shipley Oil, Greens Dairy and most recently Kemps Dairy. Bonnie was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling and was a member in various leagues of the years, where she was a part of the 600 club. Mrs. Landes is survived by two sons, Keith A. Landes and wife, Julie of York and Scott D. Landes of York; four grandchildren, Katlyn, Tanner, Paige and Chase; a brother, Jack Bowman and wife, Cathy of Red Lion; and a sister, Jane Richter and husband, Ken of Hellam.
