Troy, PA Beverly J. Watson, Age 71, of Watkins Hill Road, Columbia Cross Roads, PA passed away Friday, April 4, 2008 at home with her family by her side. Family and friends are invited to call Monday, April 7, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Gerald W. Vickery Jr. Funeral Home 110 W. Main Street, Troy, PA. Beverly's service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Brophy of the Roseville-Mainesburg United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Tioga County Memorial Gardens. She was born In Elmira NY on February 9, 1937 the daughter of the late Rexford and Margurite Holton Crippen and was a graduate of Mansfield High School. Beverly was a homemaker and enjoyed her family; her motherly instincts helped her not raise one family but two having raised her granddaughter after the tragic loss of her daughter Kathy. She loved her family, kids in general and had a passion for traveling. Survivors include her loving husband Merle "Stub" Watson, a son, R. Gavin & Karen Watson, of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, daughters, Carmel Watson of Columbia Cross Roads, PA and Diane Boone of Oceanside, CA, five grandchildren, Travis Watson, Tristine & Anthony Prieto, Ashley Watson, Braden Boone and Zenan Al'Shahrani, a great-granddaughter, Elaina Prieto, brother and sister-in-law, Alan & Barbara Crippen of Mansfield, PA, sister and brother-in-law Sandra & Harvey Woodburn of Elmira, NY, several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by her parents, Rexford and Margurite Holton Crippen, daughter, Kathy Watson, brother, Jack Crippen and sister Joan Vrahas. Send condolences to Bestlifetributes.com
