Beverly D. (Golden) Gladney

YORK Beverly D. (Golden) Gladney, 70, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 at York Hospital. She was the companion of 27 years to Richard P. Klyeman. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Praise Community Church, 705 S. Ogontz Street, York with Pastor Adam Bower officiating. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 PM Tuesday at the Church. Burial will be held in Salem Union Cemetery in Jacobus. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born May 15, 1940 in York a daughter of the late Richard and Julia (Honsermyer) Golden, she was a 1958 graduate of William Penn Senior High. Ms. Gladney enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and the Violet Hill Girls, watching Wheel of Fortune, and completing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. In addition to her companion, Ms. Gladney is survived by a three daughters, Beth A. and husband Michael Ruppert of Dover, Cheryl G. and husband Richard Nusbaum of Wrightsville, and Christina M. Fuller of York; five grandchildren, Jessica, Lexy, Ashley, Brittany, and Darren; and three brothers, Richard Golden of Red Lion and Terry and Mark Golden both of York. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403 or to American Heart Assoc., York County Division, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
