Beverly Ann (Workinger) Kohler, 78, died on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Charles L. Kohler to whom she was married for 60 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Pastor Jen Mattheu officiating. A viewing will be from 9-10 a.m. prior to the service. The tribute service will be livestreamed at HeffnerCare.com by searching Beverly’s obituary. Born on September 23, 1943 in Dallastown, she was a daughter of the late Ralph E. and Grace L. (Hildebrand) Workinger. Beverly was a homemaker and also worked at the Stewartstown Sewing Factory, Stewartstown Subway and was a cafeteria worker for Southeastern School District over the years. Beverly enjoyed Bible study, birds, flowers, gardening and history, especially the history of the Stewartstown area. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Along with her husband, Charles, Beverly is survived by her son, Chad Kohler and his wife, Emily of Windsor; two daughters, Lisa Kohler and her significant other, Steve Young of York New Salem and Tammy Hagan of Felton; six grandchildren, Harley Hagan and his wife, Brittne of Felton, Brandon Young and his wife, Ashley of York New Salem, Ashton Kohler of York New Salem, Gage Kohler of Shrewsbury, Chyenne Kohler of Windsor and Isaac Snow of Windsor; four great grandchildren, Sophia Grace Hagan, Emerson Lee Hagan, Jaxon Young and Harper Young; sister, Brenda Descar and her husband, Joseph of New Bridgeville; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; her dog, Cloe; and numerous grand fur babies. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William Workinger and Robert Workinger.
