Beverly A. (Wheeland) Kleese

COGAN STATION - Beverly A. (Wheeland) Kleese, 73, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Valley View Nursing Center, Montoursville. In the days when doctors still made house calls, Beverly was born May 21, 1939 in the farmhouse of Harrison A. and Margaret M. (Mosteller) Wheeland. She attended a one-room schoolhouse at Quaker Hill and was a 1957 graduate of Montoursville High School. She married Donald R. Kleese on November 23, 1957 and they celebrated 55 years of marriage together. Beverly was a former member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. The delight of her life was her children, grandchildren and giving her time and recourses to anyone who needed a helping hand. Beverly is survived by her loving husband Donald, four daughters; Linda M. Knight of Montoursville, Brenda K. Fessler of Hughesville, Margaret S. Bower of Montoursville and Rachel L. Campbell of Cogan Station, ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, Two brothers; Carl E. Wheeland of Williamsport and John W. Wheeland of Montoursville, two sisters; Saloma J. Dangle of Montoursville and Reta M. Poust of Hughesville. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by four brothers; Myrle, Robert, Dale and Roy. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Trinity Gospel Church, 1010 Elmira St., with Pastor Joel Henderson officiating. Interment will be private at Quaker Hill Cemetery.
