Beverly A. Shirk

Mill Hall - Beverly A. Shirk, age 74, died at Susque-View Home on Thursday, March 5, 2009. She was born in Enid, Oklahoma on Oct. 19, 1934, daughter of the late William and Iva (Benson) Reed. Beverly was Lutheran by faith, was a former Moose Lodge member, and enjoyed sewing and reading. She loved spending family time especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband: Raymond C. Shirk whom she married on May 15, 1959 in Enid, Oklahoma, son: William C. Shirk of Mill Hall, daughters: Brenda Shirk of Howard and Sherri Wiseman of Enid, Oklahoma. Also surviving are grandchildren: Stephanie, Travis, Ruben, and Arianna, great grandchildren: Ethan, Keenan, Jaxon, and Braylee, and one brother: James Reed of Perkins, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, William and one sister, Betty. Memorial funeral services for Beverly will be held at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall at 7:00 P.M. Monday with Pastor W. Stevens Shipman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Private interment will take place at the family's convenience.
