Betty S. (Stewart) Reynolds

Betty S. (Stewart) Reynolds, 90, of Troy, PA passed away on Friday, September 24, 2010 at Skilled Nursing of Towanda Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Paul E. Reynolds who passed away on August 27, 1993. The couple married December 22, 1940 and had 52 years together. Family and friends are welcome to gather from 2:30-3:00 PM on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Troy, PA, 160 Canton Street, Troy, PA. The memorial service to honor Betty's life will be held at 3:00 PM on October 3rd at the church with Rev. Garry Zuber officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of Betty's family in Glenwood Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. Betty was born on October 7, 1919 in Lodi, NY, daughter of the late Burt F. and Ethel Louise (McCoy) Stewart. She and Paul were past owners of the Troy Lunch Restaurant and she was a life member of the Troy Fire Company's Ladies Auxiliary. Betty was United Methodist by faith. Betty is survived by her son Robert (Patricia) Reynolds of Troy, PA, her grandsons: Robert Reynolds, Jr. of Inkerman, PA, Kevin L. (Barb) Reynolds of Schickshiny, PA, and another grandson, three great grandchildren, her brothers Thomas Stewart of Lodi, NY and Harold Stewart of Interlaken, NY, her sisters Eleanor Swartz of Ithaca, NY and Agnes Morris of Cortland, NY, along with several nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul, her sons Keith S. Reynolds and Richard Reynolds, her brothers: Fred, Burt, and George Stewart, and her sisters Evelyn Georgia and Orita Fish.
