Betty J. Loss

York--Betty J. (Erdley) Loss, 92, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025 at Autumn House – East. She was the wife of the late Charles R. “Dick” Loss.

Born October 24, 1932 in Middleburg, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Helen (Glass) Erdley.

She was employed as a retail associate with both Sears and Bon Ton department stores for several years until her retirement.

Betty loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed camping and trips to the beach.

Mrs. Loss is survived by her son, David A. Loss; three grandchildren, Joshua, Trisha and Daniel; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Kinser and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard L. Loss; one granddaughter, Aimee Jo Loss and seven siblings.

A Celebration of Life Tribute will be held privately at the family’s convenience. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.
