RED LION- Betty (Keller) Eaton Poet, 84, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Pleasant Acres in York. She was the wife of the late William L. Eaton and the late Richard Poet. A private graveside service will be held at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements. Betty was born in Woodbine on May 4, 1930, the daughter of the late Charles and Nellie (Cooper) Keller. She retired from Rutter’s Convenience Store in Windsor. She enjoyed travelling and spending time with her family. Betty leaves two granddaughters, Shelly R. Miller and her husband John, Jr. of Red Lion and Kelly Flinchbaugh and her husband, Shawn of Craley; three great grandchildren, Shayla Miller, and Kade and Braden Flinchbaugh; a sister, Lois Stokes of Airville; and a daughter-in-law, Trudy Eaton of Red Lion. She was preceded in death by her son Dale William Eaton. Memorial Contributions may be made to York County Veterans in Need, 100 West Market Street, York, PA 17401.
