Betty J. (Shoaff) Smith

DOVER- Betty J. (Shoaff) Smith, 71, died on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at her residence. She was the wife of Robert J. Smith to whom she was married for 51 ½ years. Services for Mrs. Smith are private at the convenience of the family. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, 305 W. Front St., Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born on July 12, 1948 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd C. Shoaff and Inez (Hoops) Bailetts. Mrs. Smith was a part of the first graduating class from Red Land High School in 1967. Betty was a former Certified Nurses Aid for many years. Mrs. Smith was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and nanny. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, crossword books and word finds. Along with her husband, Robert, Betty is survived by two daughters, Sandra Grose and her husband, Johnny of Lititz and Christine Sutley and her husband, Eugene of Dover; and four loving grandchildren Codi Smith, Joshua Smith, Ziva Grose and Emma Sutley.
