YORK- Betty J. (Rice) Stauch, 64 died Monday, April 5, 2010 at Manor Care Health Services-South in York. A Graveside Service will be 1 p.m. on Monday, April 12, 2010 at Somerset County Memorial Gardens in Somerset, PA. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Stauch was born in Somerset on March 31, 1946, a daughter of the late Earl J. and Beatrice E. (Smith) Rice. She retired from the Margaret E. Moul Home and was an avid reader. Mrs. Stauch leaves four brothers, Blaine R. Young, Jerry L. Rice, Sheridan L. Rice, and Allen T. Rice; a sister, Donna K. Rice; and nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to The Margaret E. Moul Home in York.
