MONTOUR FALLS, NY - Betty J. (Peterson) Drabic, 82, of Horseheads, NY and a former resident of Ontario Ave., Renovo died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility, Montour Falls, NY. She was born November 4, 1930 in Renovo the daughter of Ernest G. and Flora B. (Kirkman) Peterson. Betty was married to Robert J. Drabic who died February 9, 2009. She worked for Weis Markets as a cashier from 1948 – 1994. She was a member of Renovo Presbyterian Church. Betty enjoyed reading, bingo, and bowling and was a member of the Women’s Bowling League. She was a social member of the Elks. Surviving are one daughter Linda L. (Robin) Miller and a grandson Trevor M. Miller both of Horseheads, NY and a brother Ernest F. “Pete” (Betty Ann) Peterson of S. Renovo. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Betty was preceded in death by a son Robert F. Drabic in 1958 and an infant brother William. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner.
