Betty J. Miller

YORK - Betty J. (Gochenaur) Miller, 90, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Colonial Manor Rehabilitation Center. Betty was the wife of the late Stewart L. Miller, who passed away on June 22, 2020. The couple was wed on December 1, 1951. Services for Betty will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Inc. is in charge of arrangements. Born in Dillsburg on May 17, 1930, Betty was the daughter of the late John A. and Della M. (Bentz) Gochenaur. Betty was a homemaker. She was a member at the Ambassador Bible Church in Manchester. Betty will best be remembered as keeping a good house, gardening and a love for flowers. Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters; Sandra K. Dawson of York, Barbara A. Bare of Manchester, Wendy S. Simmons and her husband, David of Mt. Wolf; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother Barry Gochenaur; sisters Judy Kleiser, Gladys Nelson and Pearl Foreman and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her husband and her brothers Clair, Wayne, Charles, Harold and Ervin Gochenaur.
