Betty J. (Furst) Klinedinst

YORK Betty J. (Furst) Klinedinst, 83, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home. She was the wife of William H. Klinedinst to whom she was married for 64 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with Rev. Sue Oelrich officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Chapel. Private burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Born November 24, 1927 in York a daughter of the late John H. and Bertha M. (Shue) Furst, she was a 1945 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Mrs. Klinedinst enjoyed going to yard sales, shopping, and collecting and making jewelry. She will be remembered as a very loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Klinedinst is survived by two daughters, Jane E. and husband Ed P. Davis of Masontown, WV and Carla M. and husband Robin Landis of Red Lion; four sons, Paul W. and wife Dalea Klinedinst of Windsor, John E. and wife Marsha Klinedinst of Dover, David A. and husband Margaret Klinedinst of Bel Air, MD, and Scott R. Klinedinst of York; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a number of step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and two sisters, Clara Myers of York and Emma Mortorff of Dallastown. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Terry Klinedinst and Paul W.
