MILTON - Betty J. (Baumer) Morgan, 83, died Sunday September 3, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born in Danville on November 14, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Ira and Mary (Albeck) Baumer. On October 14, 1952 Betty married the late Robert A. Morgan and they celebrated 49 years of marriage until his death in 2002. Betty was a graduate of Danville High School Class of 1951 and worked for Chef Boy Ardi and retired after 44 years. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Milton. Betty was an avid reader and she loved to keep her yard looking nice. Betty is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law; Debra A. and Brad Bartlett of Milton and Jodi and David Hendrickson of Danville, Three grandsons, two step grandsons; four great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren and six sisters and four brothers-in-law; Mary Billhime of Milton, Darlis Wintersteen of Danville Helen and Hurley Moll of Danville, Donna and Carl Smith of Danville, Karen and Joseph Zavaglia of Fort River, NJ and Judy and Ed Brill of Middletown. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by one brother; Ira Baumer and one sister; Joanne Randler. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1125 Mahoning Street, Milton PA 17847 A gathering of friends and family will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 8, 2017 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1125 Mahoning Street, Milton followed by a memorial service at 11:00. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
