Betty A. Walters Betty A. Walters, 76, of Pottsville, passed away Wednesday at her home. Born in Cressona, on November 12, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Lin Sadie Fessler Douglas. She was a member of the Salvation Army, Pottsville. She attended Cressona schools. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Guy Carl Walters and Gary Walters; her brother, Guy Carl Douglas; her two sisters, Vera Martin and Verna Moore. She is survived by her husband, Wilbur G. Walters, Sr., Pottsville, to whom she was married 56 years; her four daughters, Gail M. Hoffman, wife of Ralph, Mill Creek, Elizabeth Martin, her companion, William, of Pottsville, Charlotte D. Collins, wife of Mike, of Schuylkill Haven and Cindy L. Walters, Pottsville; her four sons, Dennis L. Walters, Husband of Meredith, of Pine Grove, Wilbur G. Walters, Jr., Pottsville, John E. Walters, Pottsville and Robert A. Walters, of Pottsville; her sister, Maryann Evans, of Rehrsburg, PA; her brother, Jack Douglas, of Pottsville; 14 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning at 11:00 A.M. from the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & West Market Sts., Pottsville. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
