Betty A (Rehn) Pace

DOVER - Betty Ann Pace, 82, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Community General Osteopathic Hospital. She was the wife of the late David E. Pace with whom she shared a loving and caring life for 59 years. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Lewisberry United Methodist Church, 309 Market Street, Lewisberry, with The Reverend Janie Harrison officiating. A viewing will be held from 12:30-1:30 PM prior to the service. Burial will be in Tri County Memorial Gardens. Beaver Urich Funeral Home, 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry, is in charge of arrangements. Born August 6, 1934 in Peachem, VT, Betty was the daughter of the late Andrew A. and Dorothy I. (Brown) Rehn. She graduated from Saxton Liberty High School in Saxton, PA, and then moved to Harrisburg to work at the hospital where she met David. They were married December 24, 1955. She later worked at UGI in Harrisburg until her retirement. Mrs. Pace is survived by a daughter, Kimberly A. Rudy and her husband Brian of AZ; two grandsons, Shaun Rudy and his wife Jessica of CO, and Brandon Rudy and his wife Britany of SC; four great grandchildren, Jeremy Rudy, Mykael Rudy, Liam Rudy and Charlotte Rudy, and a brother, Gene E. Rehn, Sr. and his wife Nancy of Lewisberry. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a brother, Paul L. Rehn.
