Bernard W. "Bill" Bachman

Glen Burnie, MD – Bernard William “Bill” Bachman, 85, passed away on September 5, 2019. Born April 26, 1934 in Baltimore, MD; a son of the late William and Gertrude (Miskiman) Bachman, he was a 1954 graduate of Catonsville High School. Bill retired from General Motors Corp. in Baltimore. He had also worked with Living Classrooms Foundation and previously at the Somerset Club in Boston. He loved sports and was a faithful Orioles, Baltimore Colts and Ravens fan. Bill was a US Navy veteran of The Korean War. Mr. Bachman is survived by a niece, Diane E. and husband Russell McConnell of Red Lion; two great nephews, Christopher and wife Erin McConnell and Cameron McConnell; a great niece, Courtney McConnell and her daughters, Olivia and Penelope Glotfelty. He was preceded in death by a sister, Bernadette Penn. Tribute services will be private with US Navy Burial at Sea honors.
