Bernard & Margaret Venskus

SANTA BARBARA, CA-Bernard E. Venskus, 94, formerly of Pittston, passed away July 8, 2009 in Santa Barbara, California. His wife, Margaret (Wasko) Venskus, 93, formerly of Dupont, passed away June 19, 2008. They are survived by their daughter, Ann Gilman. Also surviving are Bernard's sister, Dolores Dubitsky and Margaret's sister, Barbara Wasko. A Mass of Christian Burial for Bernard and Margaret will be held Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 605 Luzerne Street, West Pittston. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Exeter. Arrangements are entrusted to Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 728 Main Street, Avoca.
