Bernard A. Fenedick POTTSVILLE-Bernard A. Fenedick, 81, of Pottsville, passed away Friday evening at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville. Born in St. Clair on January 27, 1927, he was the son of the late John and Julia Maste Fenedick. He was a 1944 graduate of St. Clair High School. He was an Army veteran having served during World War II. He retired from Interstate Trucking where he worked for over 30 years as a truck driver. He was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church, Pottsville; member of teamsters; he was an avid bowler, having bowled in several are leagues. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Santai Fenedick, who passed away on July 29, 2001; his son, Thomas Fenedick; Her brothers, John J. Sabol, John, Albert and Joseph Fenedick; her two sisters, Julianna Hebor and Rosemary Fenedick. He is survived by his two daughters, Bernadette Fenedick, New York, NY and Mary Fenedick, of Pottsville; his two sisters, Theresa Fenedick, of Diener's Hill and Dorothy Poorman, Harrisburg; his brother, Stephen Fenedick, Glendale, AZ; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10:00 A.M. in Mary Queen of Peace Church with the Rev. John Bambrick officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 8:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. at the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & West Market Sts., Pottsville. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Hillside, Pottsville. Memorial contributions can be made to the Pottsville Joint Veterans Council, 4 North third St., Pottsville, PA 17901.
