Bernadette E. Penn

Bernadette E. (Woelfel) Penn, 89, formerly of Baltimore, passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at York Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward L. Penn. Born September 13, 1927 in Baltimore, a daughter of the late Gertrude (Miskimmons) and George Woelfel, Sr., she had worked for Army & Air Force Exchange and later retired from US Dept. of Agriculture. Mrs. Penn had been a member of Our Lady of Victory Church in Baltimore and the Army & Air Force Exchange Retirees Group. Mrs. Penn is survived by a daughter, Diane E. and husband Russell McConnell of Red Lion; three grandchildren, Courtney and husband Ben Glotfelty, Christopher and wife Erin McConnell, and Cameron McConnell; a great granddaughter, Olivia Glotfelty; and a brother, William Bachman of Baltimore.
