Benjamin E. Druck

YORK- Benjamin Ellsworth Druck, 93, of York Township died Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Manor Care Health Services in Dallastown. He was the husband of Hazel K. (Bentz) Druck. The couple celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary on February 8th. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pace in Red Lion with a visitation from 9:30-10:30 a.m. His pastor, The Reverend Ray Hatcher will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Mr. Druck was born in York on September 14, 1918, son of the late George B. and Mary E. (Blum) Druck. He retired in 1981 from Ben Druck Door Company in York Township, which he founded in 1969. Mr. Druck was an active member of Salem Lutheran Church in Jacobus, past president of Dallastown Lions Club, was a member of Izaak Walton League and White Rose Square Dancers, and former member of AARP Senior League at Briarwood Golf Course. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. Mr. Druck leaves three sons, George T. Druck of York, Philip L. Druck of Sabinsville, PA, and Benn A. Druck of York; two daughters, Judith A. Routson of Dillsburg, and Barbara J. Kehr of York; 11 grandchildren; a step granddaughter; and 22 great grandchildren. A granddaughter, Jeannie Druck Riebling preceded him in death.
