Beatrice M. Benner

MUNCY - Beatrice M. Benner, 89 of Five Points Road, and also a former resident of Winfield died at home on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. She was born May 16, 1920 in Lewistown the daughter of Charles C. and Frances A. (Shildt) Benner. Beatrice worked as a nurse assistant at the Masonic Home in Elizabethtown. She was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Milton. Surviving are two sons Herbert R. Mumper of Jamison, PA and David L. Mumper of Milton and also one daughter Nina K. Fidler of Muncy. She is survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters Renna Smith and Virginia Earnest both of Lewistown. She was preceded in death by two sons Arthur and Neil and also one daughter Gail M. Hess. The funeral service will be held 10:30 A.M., Friday, February 19, 2010 at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 102 Lower Market Street, Milton with the Rev. Bill Gibson officiating. There will be a public viewing one hour prior to the service at the church. Private interment will be at Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Andrews United Methodist Church in her memory. Arrangement's are under the direction of the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton.
