Beatrice M. (Becker) Godfrey

DALLASTOWN- Beatrice M. (Becker) Godfrey, 98, died on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Manor Care Dallastown. She was the wife of the late Woodrow W. Godfrey. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Codorus Church of the Brethren Cemetery, 1129 Dunkard Valley Rd., Dallastown with Pastor Ben Godfrey officiating. Born on February 27, 1920 in Dover Twp., she was a daughter of the late John F. and Myrtle M. (Schroll) Becker. Beatrice worked at several sewing factories over the years and most recently at Smith Village Furniture. Mrs. Godfrey was a life long member of Codorus Church of the Brethren. Mrs. Godfrey is survived by three sisters, Delores M. Poff of York, Janet L. Greenplate and husband, Leon of York and Evelyn J. Baker of York. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret I. Eisenhower and Mary Baker; and six brothers, Chester Becker, Carl Becker, Cleon Becker, Clair Becker, Floyd Becker and Ralph Becker.
