Barry L. Ilgenfritz

WRIGHTSVILLE - Barry L. Ilgenfritz, 63, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Melissa A. (Godfrey) Ilgenfritz. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Rev. Albert R. Horst officiating. A visitation will be held from 12-1:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home. Born September 11, 1952 in York a son of the late Ruth T. (Kinard) and Bayard Ilgenfritz, II; he was a graduate of York Co. Vo-Tech. Barry was a Co-Owner of K & K Dodge in Wrightsville where he worked for 41 years. He loved the outdoors and could often be found hunting, fishing and playing golf. Mr. Ilgenfritz is survived by two sons, Timothy L. and wife Amanda Ilgenfritz of Wrightsville and Cory L. and wife Megan Ilgenfritz of Philadelphia; two daughters, Tira L. and husband Robert Manganello of Wrightsville and Karlee E. Ilgenfritz and husband Jason Scanlon of Marietta; six grandchildren, Jarrett, Ryan, Justin, Carter, Calista, and Coen; three brothers, Lester Ilgenfritz of Wrightsville, and Brad and Terry Ilgenfritz both of York; and a sister, Bessie Anderson of Wrightsville. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bayard Ilgenfritz, III; and a sister, Diane McLaughlin.
