Barry K. Landis

FELTON – Barry K. Landis, 69, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at York Hospital. He was the companion of Diane L. Blymire of York. A viewing will be held from 6-8:00 PM on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Burial will be private. Born May 11, 1944 in York a son of the late Kenneth K. and Charlotte L. (Mutzebaugh) Landis, he was a graduate of West York High School and Penn State University. Barry loved to work and served as a Chief Electrical Engineer at Capway Systems, Inc. for 16 years and also owned and operated Red Lion Business Systems. He was a member of Red Lion American Legion and VFW and enjoyed spending time in the mountains. In addition to his companion, Diane; he is survived by two sisters, Barbara A. and husband Larry Snyder of York and Karen A. and husband Pete Gauthier of Woodburn, OR; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Bryan K. Landis; and former wife, Rhonda M. Landis. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Tr. N, York, PA 17406.
