Barry D. Grace

YORK - Barry D. Grace, 64, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Memorial Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 18th, 2010 at Christ Lutheran Church, 29 S. George Street, York, with his pastor, the Reverend Marie Krueger officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday at the church. Burial will be held in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Grace was born April 12, 1946 in York, a son of the late Isaac M. and Florence (Paul) Grace. He formerly worked as a Computer Operator at Motor Freight Express. He was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church in York. He enjoyed delivering mail to the residents and using his computer. His hobbies included trains and coin collecting. Mr. Grace is survived by a son, David E. Grace and wife Sabrina of York; a daughter, Jennifer L. Gerz and husband Eric of Columbia; Three grandchildren, Adeline and Norah Gerz, and Riley Grace; one brother, Allen Grace of York; two sisters, Patricia Watson and Jean Eckman both of York; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 29 S.
