Barry C. Snyder

WATSONTOWN - Barry C. Snyder, 64, died Sunday, July 24, 2011 at his residence. He was born May 1, 1947 in Milton a son of the late Glenward and Lucille T. (Bibighause) Snyder. Barry was married to the former Michele A. Clark they celebrated twenty years of marriage together. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was a disabled veteran. He retired in 2010 from Con-Agra after 43 years. He attended St. Johns United Methodist Church. He enjoyed antique shopping, car shows and NASCAR. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0945. Surviving are his loving wife one son Glenzuriah B. Snyder at home and also two step-daughters Miranda Eck of Sunbury and Gretchen Heintzelman of Lewisburg. Two grandsons Gabriel and Noah. One brother Wayne E. Snyder of Mockville, NC and a sister Betty Rose Fisher of Oricle, AZ Two brothers Glen and Tommy and also a sister Eloise Snyder preceded Barry in death. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 5, 2011 at St. Johns United Methodist Church, Dewart with Pastor Mark Snyder and the Rev. Paul Kauffman officiating. There will be a visitation from 10:30 to 11:00 A.M. Memorial contributions can be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301. Dale E.
