Barbara N. (Eck) Farwell

MILL HALL - Barbara N. (Eck) Farwell, 79, died Friday, January 27, 2017 at The Gatehouse, Williamsport. She was born on January 18, 1938 in South Williamsport and was the daughter of the late Bernard and Edith (Greiner) Eck. Barb married Robert E. Farwell, Jr. on September 11, 1988 and celebrated 28 years of marriage together. She was a member of God’s Eternal Life Church, Dunnstown and she enjoyed camping, motorcycles, going to local yard sales, her dogs, card crafting, but most of all she loved going to church. , In addition to her husband Bob, Barb is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law; Donna and David Edkin and Josette and Clair Riggle all of Silver City, New Mexico, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by one daughter; Murial Riggle and two sisters; Mary Krauser and Jackie Williamson. A public viewing will be held from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2017 at Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall followed by the funeral at 7:00p.m. with Pastor Dean Williams of God’s Eternal Life Church, Dunnstown. Burial will take place in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven at a later date at the convenience of the family.
