Barbara M. Godfrey

SPRING GROVE- Barbara M. Godfrey, 75, died on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Frank T. Godfrey to whom she was married for 56 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Dale Therit officiating. A viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on October 9, 1946 in York, she was a daughter of the late Ervin Henry and Myrtle (McMaster) Godfrey, II. Barbara was a homemaker. Mrs. Godfrey was a member of West York Church of the Brethren. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Godfrey and her companion, Yohance Jones of Dover; three sons, Matthew Godfrey and his companion, Brenda Wolf of Dover, Jeffrey Godfrey and his wife, Lisa of Hanover and David Godfrey and his wife, Christina of York; seven grandchildren, Brittany, Jordan, Jarrett, Jacob, Hector, Taylor and Trace; three great grandchildren; sister, Linda Godfrey of Florida; and her aunt, Betty Ferguson of York.
