Barbara L. (Ludwig) Stambaugh

YORK- Barbara L. (Ludwig) Stambaugh, 90, died on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at her daughter’s residence. She was the wife of the late Alvin B. Stambaugh who passed away on June 6, 2019. The couple had been married for 68 years. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Born on November 8, 1930 in York, she was a daughter of the late Ceryal S. and Berthe E. (Falkenstine) Ludwig. Barbara was the owner of Bresslers 33 Flavors of Ice Cream in the North Mall for many years. Mrs. Stambaugh was a member of the former Otterbein United Methodist Church, now Spry Church. Barbara is survived by her children, Michael Stambaugh of Wrightsville, Scott Stambaugh and his wife, Beth of Spry, Guy Stambaugh and his wife, Leni of Dover, Terrie Burhman, Tina Robertson, and her husband, Russ of Craley, and Lisa Stambaugh of Spry; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and her sister, Victoria Bowman of Spry.
