Barbara J. Elstrodt

DOVER—Barbara J. (Heffner) Elstrodt, 63, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021 at UPMC-Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Michael E. Elstrodt to whom she was married for 44 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:30AM, Friday October 29, 2021 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. Officiating the service will be Fr. Dominic Azagbor of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. A visitation will be held from 9:30-11:30AM, Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born January 22, 1958 in York, she was a daughter of Eleanor P. (Dravk) Heffner of Dover and the late Walter D. Heffner. She was employed as a packer with Stauffer’s Biscuit for the past 32 years. Barbara was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was the most important thing in the world and she loved the time spent cheering them on. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Elstrodt is also survived by one son, Chad M. Elstrodt of Manchester; one daughter, Heather E. Hughes and husband, Michael of W. York; two grandchildren, Carter and Reagan; two sisters, Kimberly J. Spangler and husband, Ashley of Dover and Melissa L. McGuire of York and several nieces and nephews.
