Barbara Gail Barsovitz-Hines

RED LION-Barbara Gail Barsovitz-Hines, 63, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Inners Creek Nursing Home in Dallastown. She was the wife of the late David W. Hines.

Barbara was born in York on October 27, 1960, the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Lilian (Gowland) Barsovitz. She worked at Hoss’s Restaurant in East York, volunteered with local Feed The Vets, for 15 years, and was a chaplain and secretary for American Legion Riders Chapter 543 in Red Lion.

Barbara leaves two sisters, Marlene Boyd of Annville and Rosemary Fleury of Las Vegas; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Georgia Ness, Joanne Krall and Susan Heist.

A memorial and celebration of life service by Local Feed The Vets. will be held on May 25, 2024 1pm at the September House, 1251 W. King St., York, PA, 17404, parking lot across street, anyone wants to bring covered dish it will be appreciated.
