Barbara E. (Embick) Stevenson

JERSEY SHORE - Barbara E. (Embick) Stevenson, 71, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 at her home with her family by her side. She was born February 22, 1944 in Lock Haven a daughter of the late Ralph and Viola (Bowmaster) Embick. Barbara was married on March 22, 1964 to John A. Stevenson, Sr. They celebrated 51 years of marriage together, She enjoyed flowers, gardening and reading. Surviving are her husband; three sons John (Michele) Stevenson, Jr., Wilmer (Shelly) Stevenson and Daniel (Fawn) Stevenson all of Jersey Shore. Three daughters Melanie Winters and Michelle (Chad) Bechdel both of Jersey Shore and Melissa (Mark) Geise of Mill Hall. 18 grandchildren, 1 great grand son and 1 great granddaughter expected. Two brothers Steve Embick and Terry (Theresa) Embick both of Jersey Shore and 1 sister Peggie (Thomas) Baker of Lock Haven. She was preceded in death by two brothers Chuck Embick and Ralph Embick. A visitation will be held from 4 –5 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Interment will be private.
