Barbara Anne (Fetterman) Cannon, of Niagara Falls, died on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in Buffalo Mercy Hospital. She was 73. She was born in Shintown, PA on February 27, 1940, the daughter of the late Joseph Charles and Elsie Rosalie (Shady) Fetterman. While her husband, Clifford was in the military, they resided in Erlangen, Germany for two years. Barbara was a longtime member of the First Assembly of God Church. She had many interests with the outdoors - camping, rafting, walking, hiking, swimming, ice skating, biking and motorcycling. She loved playing games, cross stitch, baking and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She retired from Ohmtek and Vishay. She is survived by her husband of 54 years,Clifford Alvin Cannon; four children, Jeffrey (Jackie) Cannon of Yelm, WA; Kathy (Frank) Matiasz of Niagara Falls; Christopher Cannon of Port Orchard, WA; Wendy (Thomas) Conheady of Lockport; three sisters, Ruby (late Robert) Desmond of Lockport; Mary (Clyde) Haupt of Grand Island; Bonnie (Graydon) Wadsworth of Niagara Falls; her half-sister, Margaret Fetterman of Lock Haven; her sister-in-law, Diane Fetterman of New Jersey; nine grandchildren, Nicholas, Courtney, Brian, Zachary, Alexander, Lacie,Ashley, Victoria and Savannah and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by half-sisters, Eileen Lobster, Elizabeth Bauer and her half- brother, Joseph Fetterman. Friends may call Friday from 2-4, 7-9 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME., Inc., 8622 Buffalo Avenue. Funeral services Saturday 11 AM in the First Assembly of God Church, 8750 Niagara Falls Blvd., Niagara Falls. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 15, 2013 at North Bend Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to First Assembly of God Church. Maxwell Funeral Home, Renovo has charge of local Arrangements.
