Barbara A. Zaepfel

YORK – Barbara A. (Eberly) Zaepfel, 74, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Richard A. Zaepfel. Born March 17, 1948 in York, a daughter of the late Ervin M. and Anna Mae (Snyder) Eberly, she was a 1966 graduate of Dallastown Area High School and later from Millersville University. Mrs. Zaepfel was a Librarian in the Middle School for Southern York Co. School District for 32 years. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Zaepfel is survived by two sisters, Rachel Ehrlich of Red Lion and Judith Heinlen of York; a brother, Paul and wife Sally Eberly of Milton, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Luther Eberly. Tribute Services will be private with entombment at Prospect Hill Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York.
