Bailey Scott Borges, 25, entered into the presence of Jesus on March 20, 2023 in Soldotna, Alaska. Although he had lived in Alaska since December 2018, he was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on May 14, 1997 and spent most of his life in Stewartstown, Pennsylvania. Bailey graduated from Red Lion Area Senior High School in Red Lion, Pennsylvania in 2015. He took classes at Harrisburg Area Community College (York Campus) and later became a skilled meat butcher.
Bailey will long be remembered for his easygoing ways, his ready smile, and the way he lit up any room with his infectious laugh. He was a dedicated and loving father to his twin daughters, Alice Mary Lou and Matilda May Borges. Bailey was always up for adventure and had a contagious zest for life. He was a talented drummer and had a passion for music. Bailey loved to make others happy and treasured his time with family and friends. He took great pleasure from his life in Alaska, enjoying time spent with family exploring the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, and riding his ATV and snowmobile.
Bailey was preceded in death by his “Pappy” John W. Davis and by his “Grammy” Laura Mae Borges. Bailey will be lovingly remembered by many who mourn his passing. He is survived by daughters Alice Mary Lou and Matilda May Borges, by his mother and stepfather, Marcy and Jim Davis, by his father and stepmother, David and Deborah Borges, and by his sister and brother, Katlyn and Tanner Borges. Bailey is also mourned by the mother of his children, Hailey Davis, and his step siblings, Destiny, Summer, and Madison Davis as well as Anthony and Olivia Climie. Bailey enjoyed a close friendship with lifelong friend and brother Jack Simms and will also be missed by his grandmother Corinne Davis, his grandfather John Borges, as well as countless other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Bailey was part of a close knit extended family and was loved by many, but ultimately became overwhelmed by despair. He couldn't see the joy that he brought to all those around him. Heartbreakingly, he ended his earthly life. Those who knew him best understand that he will live forever in the hearts of all who loved and knew him.
