Ayyala Perisastry

DOVER- Ayyala Perisastry, 62, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Bhanu (Vedula) Persisatry. A visitation was held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. Ayyala was born in India on October 1, 1945 a son of the late Periavadhanulu Ayyala and Vedula Gyatri. He married Bhanu Vedula in August of 1972 in India. Ayyala was employed with BAE Systems for 29 years before retiring this year. He was an avid golfer and he volunteered with Big Brothers and Sisters of America, York. In addition to his wife and mother, Ayyala is survived by a son, Rebi Perisastry and his wife, Debbie of Virginia; a daughter, Syamala Perisastry and her fianc窠Sunil Alexander of Wilmington, NC; a grandchild, Suneela Perisastry at home; a brother, Chenulu and his wife, Gyanua of Dover; two sisters, Usha and her husband, Sharma and Chaya and her husband, Rajni both of India.
