Autumn Grace Short

DOVER- Autumn Grace Short, 16, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Zion United Methodist Church, 1030 Carlisle Rd., York with the Reverend Joshua Rhone officiating. Viewings will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 11 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 1551 Kenneth Rd., York and from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday at church prior to the service. Born on May 24, 2005 in Bel Air, MD, she was a daughter of Eugene and Theresa (Vancura) Short, Jr. of Dover. Autumn was currently an 11th grade student at Dover Area High School where she was a member of the marching band, concert band, cheerleading team and student council. When not at school, she loved working part time at Subway. Along with her parents, Autumn is survived by her younger sister, Emily Short of Dover; grandparents, Gayle Short of Baltimore, MD and Linetta and William Vancura of Coatesville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
