Audrey V. (Stanley) Neuhaus

DOVER- Audrey V. (Stanley) Neuhaus, 92, died on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Providence Place. She was the wife of the late Dean A. Neuhaus. The couple had been married for 69 years until his passing.

Services for Audrey will be private at the convenience of the family at Greenmount Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.

Born on December 8, 1931 in Beckley, WV, she was a daughter of the late Nelson C. and Nellie A. (Doan) Stanley. Audrey was a homemaker.

Mrs. Neuhaus was a member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Audrey enjoyed gardening, flowers, sewing, watching the Philadelphia Phillies and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.

Mrs. Neuhaus is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Y. Folkemer and her husband, David A. of York and Cynthia A. Meyer of York; three grandchildren, Tina Hawkins and her husband, Frank, Michael Folkemer and his wife, Holly and Alexandra Meyer; and four great grandchildren, Anthony Hawkins, Angie Hawkins, Savannah Folkemer and Brooks Folkemer. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth H. Korpman and Dorothy M. Meadows; and three brothers, William P. Stanley, James E. Stanley and Jack M. Stanley.
