RENOVO - Arthur L. Kenworthy, age 94, died at the Bucktail Medical Center on Sunday, February 18, 2007. He was born in Renovo on September 25, 1912, a son of the late Fred A. and Gladys (Bunce) Kenworthy. Fred worked as a conductor on the Pennsylvania Railroad until his retirement in 1970. He served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. He was a member of the United Transportation Union, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the American Legion, and was an avid hunter & fisherman. He is survived by his son Fred A. (Barbara) Kenworthy of Fredricksburg, VA; his stepsons Jerry Frankenburger of Mill Creek, Scott Frankenburger of East Stroudsburg, & Robert Frankenburger of North Bend; and his stepdaughter Jennie Werts of South Renovo. Also surviving is two grandchildren & five great grandchildren as well as several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mildred (Freeman) Kenworthy in 1982, and two brothers & one sister. A memorial funeral services will be held at a later date and will be published when scheduled. Arrangements by the Maxwell Funeral Home of Renovo.
