Arnold D. Bilby

LOCK HAVEN - Arnold D. Bilby, 82, a former resident of Avis died Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Manor Care Jersey Shore. He was born in Avis on October 24, 1929 he son of the late Oliver E. and Margaret M. (Dullen) Bilby. Arnold worked at the former Avis Bank for several years. He enjoyed stamp collecting and comic books. He was a 1950 graduate of Jersey Shore High School. Arnold was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lock Haven. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Two sisters Phyllis Smith and Margurite Laubsher and two brothers Carl Bilby and Alvin “Shorty” Bilby preceded him in death. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lock Haven with Pastor Dave McCoy officiating. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the American Heart Association, 1704 Warren Ave., Williamsport, PA 17701 or the Ross Library, 232 W. Main Street, Lock Haven, PA 17745.
