Arlene M. Stevenson

YORK- Arlene M. Stevenson, 76, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Normandie Ridge. A memorial service will be held at 10AM Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Pleasureville U.M. Church, 2606 N. Sherman St, York, with her pastor, the Rev. Steven M. Livermore officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Stevenson was born on January 29, 1933 in Pleasureville to the late Franklin A. and Alverta M. (Dellinger) Stevenson. She graduated from North York High School in 1951 and retired from Dentsply, Inc. She was a long time member of Pleasureville United Methodist Church. Ms. Stevenson is survived by three sisters, Louella M. and her husband James Fritz of York, Jacqueline F. Kuhn of Lancaster, and Lois A. and her husband Phillip Brandt of FL.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Stermer and a brother in law, Merel Kuhn.
