Arlene M. (Erney) Heffner

WINDSOR TOWNSHIP- Arlene M. (Erney) Heffner, 77, of York died Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at her residence. She was the wife of Nolan E. Heffner. The couple celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on July 28, 2009. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2010 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with viewing from 1-2 p.m. Her pastor, The Reverend Steven M. Livermore will be officiating at the service. Entombment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Heffner was born in Dover on August 17, 1932, a daughter of Walter E. and Marguerite (Shipley) Erney. She retired from Sam's Club in York and was a member of Pleasureville United Methodist Church for 66 years. Along with her husband Nolan, Arlene leaves an aunt, two uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother Walter P. Erney. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to York Cancer Center, American Heart Association, or American Diabetes Association.
